Streets and infrastructure
Our streets need a real plan. Look at the pavement, the ground underneath, and the water lines first, then budget for complete repairs that last.

Lynn Luckett is a lifelong Dyersburg resident, a husband, a father and grandfather, and a senior electrical engineer. He is running for mayor for a better Dyersburg for our children, our grandchildren, and everyone who calls this city home.
Election Day Tuesday, November 3 ★ Early voting October 14 to October 29

Why Lynn is running
As a father and a grandfather, I know how much your children mean to each of you. But our children are leaving here at an alarming rate for better opportunities. We need to start right now, working to create the quality of life that they need and to keep our young people here.
We need good streets, less crime, and careful management of public money. Our infrastructure needs attention. We have to plan how repairs will be made and how we will pay for them.
Lynn believes that understanding the problem comes first. Evaluations and facts should guide priorities, repairs, and budgeting. And we should all be able to see where our money is going.

How Lynn leads
Lynn has spent his career in industrial engineering, where decisions start with data and a plan. He learned his trade by studying it and then building it in his own shop, so he could show the people he led exactly how the work gets done.
I have no problem rolling my sleeves up and going in the ditch. If you don't understand the problem, you can't fix it. And there's a lot I don't know right now. But a whole lot I will learn.
The mayor works alongside the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, city employees, and local partners. Lynn has said he will make changes "along with all of the leadership of Dyersburg and Dyer County."
